Front end module for high
resolution ECG
Design
In 1991, a special front-end module for high resolution signal averaged electrocardiohraphy (late potentials detection) was designed and built by Dr. Gramatikov, as an extension to the existing ECG Computer System 1222. The module is an extension to the system's amplifier, which is isolated by means of optocouplers and a DC-DC converter. The module accommodates in a separate box which, which connects to the system's amplifier PCB. It is also connected to 4 couples of patient cables.
